Having a dog is a wonderful adventure… but it also comes with financial responsibilities.

In Switzerland, the average monthly cost depends on the size of the dog:

Small dogs: about CHF 80.– to 150.– per month

Medium dogs: about CHF 120.– to 200.– per month

Large dogs: about CHF 180.– to 300.– per month

These amounts include food, routine care, insurance, basic equipment, and everyday veterinary expenses.

Planning this budget means giving your companion a comfortable, worry-free life full of love.

Every dog has individual needs: regular walks, enough exercise, human presence, and time to build a real bond.

Before adopting, it’s essential to consider your lifestyle as well as solutions for absences and holidays.

A dog truly thrives when its needs are met… and that’s where the real adventure begins.
