Story of Tara

🐾 Tara is looking for her forever family 🐾

Tara is a beautiful 3-year-old Cane Corso, weighing 40 kg of love. ❤️

She arrived at the shelter due to a change in circumstances beyond her control: a family member unfortunately developed severe allergies to dogs.

Her character

Tara is a dog that is very affectionate by nature.

She is a high-energy dog who enjoys physical activities and nice walks. When she is excited, she can be a bit rough, without any bad intention.

Her compatibility

✅ Children: she likes them, but may jump with excitement. Given her size, this can be impressive, especially for younger ones.

❌ Cats: Tara does not get along with cats.

⚠️ Dogs: on a leash, she is very reactive when encountering other dogs. However, she lived without issues with another Cane Corso in her previous home. Good management and guidance will therefore be necessary to continue her training.

✅ Alone: she stayed alone without problems when she lived with her canine companion. However, we do not yet know how she behaves when left alone.

The ideal family

We are looking for a family for Tara that already has experience with dogs, with a good knowledge of the breed which would be a real asset. She will not be placed as a first dog.

Her future family must be aware of her strength and size, in order to manage her calmly, especially during encounters with other dogs.

Tara will need available and committed people, ready to continue her education, socialization, and help her better manage her interactions with other dogs. She will also appreciate a family that can offer her long walks, varied activities, and physical exercise suited to her needs.
