Shanel

Shanel is a lovely Beauceron nearly 5 years old. She came to us following the death of her owner.

In terms of character, she is a very lively dog, with a lot of energy. She will need to expend a lot of energy on a daily basis.

She is also naturally fearful when she doesn't know someone. She may seem anxious in the face of new things she discovers or sudden movements. She can also be afraid of men. Once she trusts you, however, she becomes very affectionate and seeks attention.

She gets along well with calm children, cats, and other dogs.

We are looking for a family with good canine knowledge for her. Knowledge of the breed would be a real asset. We also want a family that is very present, as Shanel is not used to being alone. It will be necessary to take the time to gradually teach her solitude and plan for training and socialization classes to help her gain confidence in the outside world.

She will be spayed soon.
