Pupuce

🐾 Pupuce is back at the shelter and is looking for her family again.

This lovely 7-year-old Jagd Terrier is unfortunately back with us for a reason completely beyond her control. ❤️

Her new owner is currently seriously ill, in critical condition, and unfortunately can no longer take care of her.

We do not yet know exactly how Pupuce has evolved since her departure. She will need some time to regain her bearings and allow us to reassess her behavior and needs.

🐾 Character

Pupuce is a lively, dynamic dog who needs to be stimulated both physically and mentally.

She is a kind and affectionate dog who particularly enjoys moments of companionship and cuddles. When she was with us before, she had difficulty with solitude and needed regular company. It would therefore be preferable for her to join a household where she will not be left alone for long hours.

Due to her strong hunting instinct, Pupuce must be walked on a leash or in perfectly secure areas. She may take off after a scent and has a tendency to run away. Special vigilance will therefore be necessary during walks. 🐾

🏥 Health

Pupuce has a significant heart murmur and may also be prone to urinary infections.

She is currently on a specific veterinary diet for her urinary issues as well as treatment for her heart.

Regular veterinary follow-up will therefore be essential to ensure her health and well-being.

🐱 Cats: NO 🚫

Pupuce has a strong hunting instinct and tends to chase cats. Therefore, she cannot be placed in a home with cats.

🐕 Dogs:

Pupuce generally gets along better with females than with males. However, she can be reactive towards the latter.

A meeting with the household's dog(s) will therefore be essential before any adoption.

🏡 The ideal home

We are looking for a present, dynamic, and committed family for Pupuce, capable of providing her with a stable and secure environment.

She will need people who can respect her character, needs, and particularities while offering her beautiful physical and mental activities on a daily basis. ❤️

After this new life change, Pupuce now deserves to find a permanent family, ready to commit to her and provide her with all the stability she needs. 🐾
