🐾 Diego, a little ball of energy looking for his family ❤️

Diego is a lovely 8-year-old Japanese Spitz. He came to us due to changes in his owners' lives. Despite their good intentions, they found it difficult to meet Diego's significant needs, particularly in terms of training and managing his vocalizations. His behavior and excessive barking also became challenging to reconcile with their professional environment. It was therefore decided to give him the opportunity to find a home better suited to his needs.

🐶 His character

When he doesn't know people yet, Diego can be shy and reserved. Once he trusts, he reveals himself to be affectionate, joyful, and above all... full of energy! He is a real little dynamo ⚡️

He can also tend to jump when he is excited.

🎓 His education

Diego has some basic training, but this will need to be continued and reinforced. He does not yet know recall and tends to run away.

He can stay alone, which is a positive point.

However, Diego can be very reactive to certain elements of his environment. He is particularly afraid of things that pass quickly near him, such as bicycles or joggers, and can react strongly.

He also tends to vocalize a lot when he hears something or when a person arrives. Therefore, work will be necessary to help him better manage his emotions and limit his barking.

🧴 His beautiful coat also requires regular maintenance. Therefore, you will need to be ready to dedicate time to his grooming.

We are looking for a home for Diego in a single-family house, to limit potential issues related to his vocalizations, as well as a family ready to invest in his education and support him in managing his reactions.

Diego needs patient, available, and committed people who can offer him a clear and caring framework while allowing him to expend enough energy, both physically and mentally.
