Everything you need to know about these wonderful companions to adopt together
Story of Chatons
🐾 This little sibling group (3 females and 1 male) is looking for a new home! 🐾
They can be adopted together or separately, ideally into a family that already has a sociable and well-adjusted cat, who could help them in their learning.
These kittens were born outside, to a feral mother. They are still not very accustomed to human contact and can be very fearful of us. They will therefore need time, patience, and a lot of gentleness to learn to trust humans. ❤️
Significant socialization work will need to be continued in their new home. For now, when they are scared, they may still try to flee, hiss, or even defend themselves by attacking. They do not yet come spontaneously to humans seeking pets or cuddles.
⚠️ Socialization will be an essential step for their development. If it is not sufficiently worked on and pursued daily, they risk not progressing and remaining very fearful of humans. It is therefore important that their future family is genuinely available and ready to invest in this long-term work.
We are looking for a calm, patient, and available family for each of them, with enough time to dedicate to their socialization. Experience with fearful kittens would be a real asset.
To start, it will be necessary to arrange a dedicated room for them, to provide a secure environment and facilitate the socialization work. This will also help prevent them from hiding in hard-to-reach places or escaping.
The presence of a sociable, balanced cat that is used to human contact could also be a real support in their learning.
🏠 They can perfectly live in an apartment, provided that it is secured with nets on the windows and/or balcony.
❤️ These kittens need a family that will give them the necessary time to evolve, without expecting them to become cuddly cats immediately. With patience, consistency, and appropriate work, they will gradually gain confidence.
If you feel ready to welcome a fearful kitten and have the time and resources necessary to support them in their socialization, please contact us only by phone at 079 178 15 02.
❗ Please do not contact us by message, email, or through social media.
