Alka is looking for a family for life ❤️

Alka is a magnificent Swiss Bouvier just under a year old, already weighing over 35 kg! 🐶

He is a young, lively dog, energetic and very close to humans. A true "velcro dog," he loves cuddles and greatly appreciates the presence of his human. He knows basic commands and walks well on a leash without pulling.

As he has always lived with his owner, solitude is still something he needs to learn. A gradual approach will therefore be necessary to teach him to stay alone calmly.

When he is very excited, Alka may also tend to jump on people. Therefore, his training will need to continue, teaching him to better manage his emotions and excitement.

⚠️ Special attention should be paid to resource guarding. Alka may guard what he has in his mouth and can be reactive when someone tries to take something away. A training on "trading" is already in place and must be continued in his future family.

🐕 Alka gets along well with other dogs.

🐱 However, he has never lived with cats. He currently shows curiosity towards them, without signs of aggression, but a gradual introduction and adjustment period will be essential.

For Alka, we are looking for a dynamic family, present and ready to fully invest in his education, who can offer him enough physical and mental activity on a daily basis.

Given his resource guarding issue, we prefer a home without children to ensure everyone's safety. Alka will also not be placed as the first dog: we are looking for people who already have experience with dogs and are aware of the work that his education may require.
