By law, guardians have two months to claim a lost animal. If no one comes forward, adoption can take place after March 17, 2026.
While we wait for this period to end, Alfonse can stay with a foster family.

Story of Alfonse
He is a cat about 4 years old. Unfortunately, we know nothing of his past, as he arrived with us as a found cat. We were able to locate his previous owner, but he, having moved abroad, does not wish to reclaim him.
Currently, he is still considered a found cat. According to the law, an owner has a period of two months to claim a lost animal. After this period, and in the absence of any claim, his permanent adoption can take place from March 20, 2026.
Regarding his character, he is currently very shy and fearful with us. He will need time, gentleness, and patience to be able to trust again.
He will need a home where he can continue to go outside at his leisure.
We are looking for a loving home for him, where he can continue to live peacefully and receive all the attention he needs.
